Certainly - the library's catalog (CALVIN) is accessible at any time, from any location. Either go to the library home page (http://www.barbourlibrary.org) or directly to the catalog (http://innovative.pts.edu). A text-only version of the catalog is also available if you have special vision requirements: telnet://innovative.pts.edu (the login is "library").

Can I access library databases from home?

Yes, subject to these restrictions:

• The following library users are authorized for remote access (all users can access databases while on-campus):

  • Current PTS Students

  • Current PTS Faculty and Staff

  • Alumni can access the ATLA database here.

• To remotely access databases which require authentication, you must have a library account in good standing and the barcode number from your library card.
