Can I access the catalog from home?

Certainly - the library's catalog (CALVIN) is accessible at any time, from any location. Either go to the library home page (http://www.barbourlibrary.org) or directly to the catalog (http://innovative.pts.edu). A text-only version of the catalog is also available if you have special vision requirements: telnet://innovative.pts.edu (the login is "library").

 

Can I access my PTS email from home?

What journals does the library subscribe to?
A full list of all the periodicals held in the library is here.  The databases above also provide the full text of many periodicals. (Print periodicals must be used in the library.)

 

What newspapers do you get?
Current issues of the

are on the coffee table in the current periodical reading area. Several weeks' issues are kept on metal shelves near the beginning of the current periodicals. Only about 3 months worth of back issues are kept and for these, ask at the circulation desk.
